RTAC bags ship with a pistol retention system inside, which wraps around your gun and then mounts to the inside of the bag in a fixed position. This is particularly notable as if you need to draw your weapon quickly, it is vital that the grip is oriented correctly so you can draw effectively. The sling bag can be worn over the shoulder and across the torso, as most users wear it, but this system can be used in several ways. Some users like to leave a Tac Sling in the car or office as a mini bug-out-bag, as a full-size emergency pack can be too conspicuous or cumbersome.
